The Men's Golf Club is one of the most thriving sports clubs at the University of St Andrews, and is in fact the oldest University Golf Club in the world.
We hold regular socials, enabling the members to interact and meet a large proportion of the club. Alongside this we have Golf Ball, Golf Christmas Dinner amongst other events that are not to be missed.
We aim to cater for a wide range of golfers, from Performance level where there is a dedicated program to manage our 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams, to competitive golfers through our regular competitions and our own BUCS team, to newcomers to the game by offering lessons in association with The Dukes Course, St Andrews. For more details on the lessons, email the club at firstname.lastname@example.org
As we are affiliated with the Scottish Golf Union, we are also able to give handicaps to our members.
By becoming a member you also gain access to our regular kit and golf bag orders, and our annual Kingsbarns day, allowing you to play one of the worlds best golf courses for only £30. A link to buy membership is provided below.
Playing golf on the links is distinct from membership of the club, and rights to play on the course are purchased seperately by buying a links ticket. The link below details how you can get one.
Once you have the links ticket, managing to book a tee time is very easy, the link below details the procedure for all of the 7 different courses at St Andrews.
